Moving forward after a major health or hormonal shift
Sami C.
Establishing healthier habits
A few years ago, I went through a significant health shift that left me feeling physically exhausted, mentally drained, and emotionally overwhelmed. Between managing my health, hormonal imbalances, and the challenges that came with it, I found myself questioning what I was capable of and how to move forward. I had to find new ways of living, eating, exercising, and even thinking about myself in a way that prioritized my body’s needs and took into account my mental and emotional well-being. This transition was especially challenging as I navigated post-surgical recovery and the emotional impacts of major physical changes. But it also became an opportunity to deeply understand my body, learn how to care for it in a more balanced way, and discover new practices to restore my energy, vitality, and sense of self. Whether it’s a major health diagnosis, a hormonal shift like menopause, or any other physical change that’s throwing you off balance, I know how frustrating it can be to feel like you’re no longer in control of your own body. I’ve walked through this journey of reclaiming my energy, health, and mindset—and I’d love to help guide you through this new chapter, empowering you to trust your body, embrace the change, and move forward with a renewed sense of strength and confidence.

I’ve lived with bipolar type 1 for over 25 years and have navigated many dark and overwhelming moments in my life. Through therapy and developing coping skills, I’ve learned how to find balance, manage anxiety, and reconnect with myself. In this session, I bring that experience to support you in regulating your nervous system, grounding your energy, and reconnecting with self-love. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you’ll be heard, supported, and guided through practices like mindfulness, creative exercises, and reflective tools tailored to your needs. We’ll focus on helping you feel centered and emotionally clear, even when life feels heavy or overwhelming.
Song reflections and a healing music space
Rediscovering passions or hobbies
Music reaches places inside us that conversation sometimes can't, and healing often begins when we allow ourselves to feel again. In this space, we use music as emotional reflection, expression, and connection. You can bring a song(s) that resonates with you, or we can choose one together based on what you're feeling. We’ll listen in the chat/screenshare and explore the emotions, memories, insights, and meanings that arise. Or we can just hang out and jam :) I've held 200+ Healing Through Music sessions on ShareWell, a peer-support platform, and it’s one of the most powerful ways people open up, self-discover, and find emotional release without pressure or judgment.

Establishing healthy boundaries
Because I get it. After facing a life-threatening health scare, rebuilding my life, healing relationships, overcoming anxiety, and making powerful changes in my health and habits, I’ve learned what it takes to create lasting transformation from the inside out. Now I help others do the same — with compassion, clarity, and zero judgment.
Living with and managing diabetes
Santaesh L.
I’ve been living with Type 1 Diabetes for over 21 years. Through every high and low—both literally and figuratively—I’ve come to understand the many challenges that come with managing this disease. It hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve learned to face each step with resilience, patience, and determination. While I have deep personal experience, I also recognize that everyone’s journey with diabetes is unique. When someone has a different perspective or experience than mine, I approach it by listening with an open mind, seeking to understand their point of view, and being patient. I believe there’s always something we can learn from each other, and that empathy and shared knowledge make us all stronger. My goal is to support others, share what I’ve learned, and continue growing—because living with Type 1 Diabetes is a lifelong journey, and we’re better when we walk it together.

Coping skills
Mindfulness techniques
I know what it’s like to feel stuck in stress, sadness, or uncertainty—when everything feels too loud or too heavy, and you’re not sure how to move forward. Over time, I’ve learned that coping doesn’t mean fixing everything at once. It means finding small ways to feel a little more okay in the moment. For me, that looked like learning to name my feelings, creating routines that helped me feel safe, and figuring out what actually helped me recharge. Now, I offer space for others to explore what coping looks like for them. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, burnout, or just trying to get through the day, I’m here to help you find tools that feel doable and real.
Somatics, self care and gentle movement that meets you right where you are
Caitlin D.
Self-advocacy
In eating disorder recovery I discovered how to take care of myself and trust my body's wisdom - something I never had access to. It was a profound experience that created many changes in my life. I believe in the power of mindfulness, movement and somatics and received my yoga teacher training certification about five years ago. I also became really interested in accessible practices that meet anybody right where they are even if they have very little time, resources or energy. As a neurodivergent person I found it important to adapt these practices to my different brain. I hope to work with you around finding practices that help you connect to your body no matter who you are and no matter where you are in life.
How to make quick, healthy meals on a budget

Emotional eating
Food has always been an important part of my life—and my healing. I come from a family where my grandparents grew their own food and made rustic Italian stews and salads from garden ingredients. My mom was health-conscious too, often limiting sugar and encouraging real, whole foods. But like many families, we also ate out a lot, and processed foods still made their way into my routine. In my adult life, I really took my health into my own hands, managed a juice and smoothie bar, quit drinking and had a spiritual awakening, teaching me to honor my body more, began making more vibrant meals and eating seasonally. But I also learned that eating healthy didn’t have to be expensive or complicated. Through my Certified Health & Nutrition, Food/Mood Life Coaching and years of personal practice, I’ve developed simple systems for eating well—quickly, affordably, and joyfully. These meals not only nourish the body, but help regulate emotions, support gut health, and bring us back to center.

Aging and physical loss
Life moves in seasons—some we welcome, others we never saw coming. Sometimes we encounter an accident or we just simply haven't been moving. I struggled for many years not acknowledging the habits that were holding me back from really feeling healthier. I had health issues come, go, get better, get worse, you know. Then, I realized what I was taking in, not just the food but also what was around me. It took me 2 years to get to where I feel better, the journey doesn't end. Health is for life, and life is better when you're healthy. What I offer is an ear to listen to your desires and what is holding you back. Together we can work towards a solution that will work best for you.
Losing our strength as we age and inviting healthier habits
I will never forget the image of my brother who was then 60, and had lead a sedentary lifestyle for 6 years, lifting a tool box and struggling to get it up stairs. I had put it in the car and knew it was pretty heavy, maybe 75 lbs. I was 55 and had recently been working out and changed my eating habits to lose weight. I couldn't believe his transformation. He was a mechanic lifting motors, transmissions and car stuff! But all it took was the lack of movement to get him to not being able to move like he used to. Now he isn't the only one. I am now almost 60 and I find that there are certain things I am not able/willing to lift anymore, so I let someone else. I changed my lifestyle to incorporate daily exercise for the future If you find that aging is slowing you down a little or finding that there are things you use to do that you don't and you want to do them, but it's too much ____, let's talk and find out what healthy habits for your body and your life you want to work on.
Creating an action plan for healthier habits if you've been sedentary
Dealing with aging-related health changes
I remember the first time I realized how still I'd become. Not just physically - emotionally too. I'd wake up, sit, scroll, and think about what I used to do. Now that Charlie was gone, the energy just wasn't there anymore. My joints were stiff, but so was my spirit. I'd tell myself, "I'll move tomorrow." But tomorrow had a way of not showing up. I didn't want to move, much less do a workout or go to a gym. I looked in the mirror after huffing and puffing up the stairs and said, "You need to do something!" I decided that some more movement the next day was better than no movement at all. Are you struggling just to move and need the encouragement to get off the "couch"? Let's talk about it. Make some positive goals for you and get you back to moving.

Shifting focus from weight and appearance to energy and self-care
Carrie M.
For most of my life, my relationship with food, movement, and my body was driven by control and perfectionism. I believed that “being healthy” meant following rigid rules—counting calories, exercising to earn rest, and chasing a body that was never quite good enough. Every mirror check or skipped workout became a referendum on my worth. I wasn’t trying to feel better; I was trying to be better—according to someone else’s idea of what health and success looked like. But over time, that constant pressure began to unravel me. I was physically exhausted, emotionally disconnected, and mentally consumed by numbers and body image. I realized that I had been using routines to mask deeper discomfort—avoiding stillness, shame, and the fear of not being enough if I let go. The turning point came when I started listening to my body instead of managing it like a project. I learned to move for joy, to eat with presence, and to rest without guilt. Now, I define health more holistically: it’s about feeling at home in myself, not fixing myself. It’s honoring my needs, not overriding them. It’s recognizing that my body is not a problem to solve but a partner to care for. If you’ve ever felt trapped in cycles of “shoulds” around your weight or routines, you’re not alone—and there’s another way forward.

Coping after a difficult diagnosis
I spent many years feeling lost, but through deep personal work, a range of healing modalities, and my continued education in a Master of Social Work program, I’ve gained valuable tools to support others on their journey. I bring both lived experience and professional training to help individuals better understand themselves, identify their needs, set healthy boundaries, and build lives that feel authentic and fulfilling. I've navigated a variety of physical and mental health diagnoses, the grief of letting go of relationships that no longer served me, and the ongoing process of rebuilding with intention and self-awareness. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and rooted in the belief that healing is possible—and that no one has to do it alone.
Finding hope after hitting rock bottom
Ashley L.
Transitioning out of rehab
I started using alcohol at the age of 14 as a way to cope with the grief of losing my grandmother, who was my primary caregiver. With no one to support me, I struggled to deal with the emotions, and my substance use spiraled from alcohol to opioids and cocaine. By the time I was 26, I had lost almost everything—school, jobs, relationships, and my self-respect. I realized I had reached rock bottom and couldn’t continue living that way. My journey to recovery wasn’t immediate. I was in and out of 12-step programs for over a year before I finally entered inpatient treatment and sober living in early 2022. That 30-day program, followed by an additional 30 days in sober living, gave me the stability I desperately needed. Over time, I rebuilt my life—getting a job, saving money, and even enrolling in college. Today, I’m in a healthy, loving relationship that has renewed my faith in myself and in relationships. I now realize that hitting rock bottom wasn’t the only way to change, and I’m committed to helping others recognize the signs of when their current path isn’t working and take steps toward healing before it gets too late.

Building good habits
I didn’t always see movement as a lifeline. For years, I lived with anxiety and depression, trying to push through and keep it all together, especially as a mom. I hid a lot behind a smile, but inside I was exhausted and overwhelmed. Things got so heavy at one point that I asked my family to help figure out what to do if I wasn’t here anymore. That moment scared me and it made me realize I needed help. I started therapy and, slowly, I also began moving my body in a different way: not for weight loss or performance, but to feel something good again. That shift changed everything. Movement gave me space to breathe, to process, to heal. It reminded me that I’m still here, and still capable of growing. Today, I’m a fitness professional and health coach, and I help others use movement not as punishment, but as a way to come home to themselves. I believe every body needs to move to thrive because movement connects us back to life.
Helping you find clarity, energy, and momentum in life and business
Ethan S.
Starting a business
I’ve spent my life building things: companies, brands, careers, and resilience in the face of challenges. I started in music and live events, moved into Fortune 500 brand campaigns, and eventually found my calling in coaching and helping others move forward with purpose. My clients come to me when they’re at a crossroads feeling stuck, burned out, or ready to take a leap but unsure where to start. Together, we cut through the noise, get clear on what really matters, and create a plan you can actually stick to. I combine real-world business experience with mindfulness, mental wellness tools, and straight-up honest conversation. If you’re looking for someone who’s been in the trenches, understands high-pressure decisions, and can help you rebuild your focus and drive, I’m here for that.
