When you're navigating difficult life circumstances, it's hard not to feel isolated.
"Has anyone ever felt this before? Am I the only one who's experienced this? Why do I feel so ashamed to talk to someone I trust?"
These are all thoughts and feelings I had in my early adulthood years learning how to navigate family dynamics, substance abuse, becoming independent, romantic struggles, abuse in a relationship, returning to my faith, and becoming a mother. There can be a sense of shame in seeking advice from those close to you for sensitive issues, and there's the lingering doubt in some cases of "Do I need a professional for this?".
As a 30-year old married mother to a toddler, the opportunity to talk about what's on your heart would be an honor for me. My walk through life has been full of highs and lows that have shaped me and given me the confidence to step into the fullness of my power and potential. If this is something you're looking for too- I'd love to hear from you.
