Life in the in-between

Reframing self-worth post-failure
+3
There was a time in my life when everything felt paused. I was between jobs, unsure of my next step, watching others move forward while I sat still. People would say, “Something will come along,” but the waiting felt like slow erosion. My self-worth was tied to progress, and without it, I felt small. I learned how to sit with the discomfort, how to extract meaning from stillness, and how to build a life that didn’t depend on a clear next chapter. I began to ask myself deeper questions about purpose, identity, and what truly mattered.
Breaking free from validation seeking and standing in your worth

Defining long-term goals
+4
For years, I noticed a pattern in my life: relationships that didn’t work, family that criticized, jobs that felt unfulfilling, and efforts that seemed invisible. I complained, gave more, hoped people would see my value—but nothing changed. I felt stuck, frustrated, and like a victim. Eventually, I realized that waiting for others to validate me wasn’t the answer. I had to take responsibility for my own goals, dreams, and needs. It was scary because it meant I alone held the power to succeed—or fail. Through reflection and intentional changes, I slowly regained confidence, learned to make choices that served me, and discovered what it truly means to feel in control of my life.
Hearing your intuition
Leonora I.
In high school I was passionate about fashion and dreamed of becoming a fashion blogger, but my family shamed me and I chose the “safe” path of graphic design instead. For 10 years I worked in corporate roles that gave me the chance to travel and live in incredible cities, but inside I felt empty — I wasn’t living my truth. In my free time I journaled and did inner work, rediscovering the passions I had buried. Fashion was still there, but I had also grown a deep love for wellness and nutrition. Earlier this year I became a Certified Holistic Health Coach, and now I help others reconnect with their true passions, nourish themselves inside and out, and create lives that feel beautiful, authentic, and aligned. If you’ve ever felt like you had to hide who you really are, I’d love to support you on your journey.
How to date without heartache
Edith Y.
Commitment
Expressing needs
A client once told me, “My picker is broken.” She kept dating the same man with a different name—and each time, it ended in heartache. The truth is, I understood exactly how she felt. I wasn’t dating the same guy over and over, but I wasn’t meeting anyone aligned with who I am and what I truly want. I realized I had to redefine what dating meant for me. I stopped dating to find a partner and started going on dates just to have conversations from a place of clarity, not confusion. After working with a dating and relationship coach, I got crystal clear on my values, needs, boundaries, and life purpose. I reconnected with who I am and from that place, dating became something I actually enjoy. Now I help other women do the same: get grounded, get honest, and stop settling. I believe dating doesn’t have to be a cycle of disappointment. It can be a tool for growth, clarity, and connection with others, and with yourself.
Reinventing yourself in a new city
Effective decision-making
After graduating college with a degree in TV and Radio Production, I packed up my life in NYC and moved to Los Angeles alone because that’s where dreams in TV are made. I didn’t know a soul, but within 7 days I found a beautiful apartment, bought a car, and landed my first job just around the corner from home. Still, navigating a new city wasn’t easy—and neither was working in TV. I bounced from freelance gigs to temp jobs just to keep the lights on. Eventually I returned to NYC to work for Viacom, then moved back to LA, then Atlanta, and later Nashville. Each time, I had to start over—find housing, build community, and figure life out all over again. It was lonely, uncertain, and at times terrifying. But it also taught me resilience, faith, and how to trust my ability to thrive anywhere. Moving taught me that starting over isn’t failure—it’s proof that you’re strong enough to begin again.

Clarifying purpose
I'm currently breaking free from a religious path that was once a huge part of me. For years, I lived life according to its teachings because I thought it was right – and feared conflict if I questioned it. But self-discovery changed everything. I learned more about myself and realized this path didn't truly fit. Now, philosophy helps me navigate life's puzzles. I'm grateful to finally think for myself and want to support you in your own journey of self-discovery – so you don’t have to feel alone like I did.
Rediscovering your true self and finding your career path
Sami C.
When I graduated from college, I had big dreams but didn’t have a clear idea of how to turn them into a career. I spent years in various jobs, unsure of where I truly belonged, but I kept going because I thought “this was what I was supposed to do.” It wasn’t until I embraced my passions, trusted my instincts, and leaned into my faith that I realized my career wasn’t just a job—it was a calling. I spent time in the TV industry, as a writer, and even as a tennis pro, but I never felt fully fulfilled until I began teaching, coaching, and sharing my story. I know what it feels like to wonder if the dreams you have are even possible, or if you’re just wasting time in the wrong role. But I also know that when you get clear on your purpose and take intentional steps, doors open in ways you didn’t expect. Whether you're about to graduate and need direction, considering a career change, or simply wanting a fresh start in a new season of life, I’d love to help you get clear on your path and discover a future that feels exciting and aligned with your true self.
The search for meaning when purpose feels lost

Identifying hidden passions
There were times in my life when I felt completely untethered, unsure of where I was headed, doubting whether I had anything meaningful to offer the world. I went through phases of chasing achievements, external validation, or whatever seemed like the ‘right’ next step, hoping it would give me a sense of purpose. But it never felt quite right. Eventually, I realized purpose isn’t something you stumble upon in a single moment—it’s something that evolves, shifts, and grows with you. It’s about understanding your values, what truly resonates with you, and how you want to engage with the world. And sometimes, the first step is simply allowing yourself the space to ask questions without pressure to have all the answers right away. Through peer support, I’ve helped others explore what purpose means to them—not as an obligation, but as a process of discovery. If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or lost in the "what’s next?" of life, I get it. Let’s take the time to navigate it together.
Dreaming of a career that actually excites you
Coach Ivy L.
Reinventing career
For the ones clocking in every day but questioning if this is really the life you want. When work feels unfulfilling, when promotions and growth never come, or when the only thing keeping you in your job is the pension you’ll collect someday—it’s hard not to wonder if you’re wasting your time. You see other people doing work that excites them, living lives they actually enjoy, and you can’t help but ask: Why not me? Do you ever feel like you’re being held back, but you don’t know where to go from here? Maybe you’re curious about entrepreneurship but don’t know where to start. Maybe you’re weighing financial stability against happiness. Or maybe you just need space to say out loud what you’ve been afraid to admit: this isn’t fulfilling anymore. I’ve been there—questioning purpose, stuck in jobs that drained me, and rebuilding from scratch. Now I help people create realities out of the ideas they once thought were too crazy to chase. You don’t have to figure out your next move alone.
Feeling stuck and unsure what’s next (especially when everyone else seems to have it figured out)
Christine D.
Identity crisis
There was a time I looked around and thought, Is it just me? Everyone else seemed to be climbing the ladder, finding their calling, or at least pretending they had a 5-year plan. Meanwhile, I was drowning in a sea of doubt. I had checked off so many boxes. Got the degree, the job, the accolades, but still felt empty. The path I was on didn’t feel like mine. It felt like it was expected from me. Leaving my career in biopharmaceuticals wasn’t a snap decision. It was a slow unraveling. I stayed longer than I should’ve out of fear of failing, of disappointing people, of starting from zero. But eventually, I chose honesty over stability. I admitted to myself that I wanted a life with more meaning, not just more titles. I didn’t have it all figured out, and honestly, I still don’t. But I’ve learned how to sit with uncertainty without letting it paralyze me. I’ve started over. I’ve built new skills. I’ve redefined success on my own terms. And now, I help others do the same. If you feel like you’re stuck in a life that doesn’t reflect who you are anymore or if you're craving change but don't know where to begin you’re not alone. I’ve been there. Let’s talk about what’s holding you back, and what’s possible on the other side.

Optimizing sleep environment
I experimented with minimal living in both physical and social settings. I found so much richness outside of the rat-race. Do you want to find that life feels like a treat? I found expanded possibilities in less calendar clutter, “things” clutter, and general clutter in myself and routine interactions. I do enjoy basic pleasures, yes, but I also enjoy increased opportunity to conceptualize and explore new ideas and environments. Less equals more is counterintuitive, but we will discuss how “more” is simply having extra- duplicates to clutter our progress. “Less” is a vacuum of space that can be created, reinvented, and loved in a million different ways. Let’s get minimal and maximize our imagination!
Using nature to support your mental health
Keyana J.
For a long time, I moved through life on autopilot – disconnected, going through the motions, unsure of what I was really feeling and being eager to push everything down with distractions. I used escapism as a way to ignore my big feelings, never sitting still enough to let them enter my waking thoughts. But these feelings never go away when you ignore them. They are always there just under the surface, waiting to come up at the worst possible moment in the worst possible way. Mine always erupted in anger and I lashed out at people closest to me. The noise in my head never quieted down until I took my first hike. In those 4hrs, I felt a peace that I had never felt before. My mind, body & spirit was renewed and I felt like a brand new person. Hiking quickly became my therapy as I did the work of coming back to myself and recognizing when I needed breaks instead of staying in GO-mode all the time. Along the way, I became someone that others turned to during their own periods of distress.

Spirituality, exploration, and finding deeper meaning
Donnie S.
Mindfulness techniques
Spirituality can mean different things to different people—it might be about faith, intuition, energy, or simply a search for meaning in life. I know what it’s like to ask big questions and to wonder about the deeper “why” behind what we go through. I’ve explored these questions myself, and I’ve found that it helps to share them with someone who understands that there isn’t just one right answer. With me, you’ll have space to talk about your spiritual journey, your questions, and your experiences, without judgment. Together, we can explore what spirituality means to you and how it can bring more peace and purpose into your life.
Navigating grief and rebuilding self-worth after losing a friend
MacKenzie C.
Anger management
Self-worth
When I was in college, I lost a close friend to suicide during the height of the pandemic. The shock of it, combined with the loneliness of that time, hit me harder than I could have imagined. I was eventually diagnosed with major depression and felt completely stuck, questioning my own worth and purpose. Over the past five years, I’ve poured myself into healing, studying psychology, and creating self-regulation tools to move through sadness, anger, and guilt. I learned to honor my friend's memory without letting grief define me. I also worked to rebuild my confidence, leaving behind toxic relationships and embracing sobriety in 2021. Through all of this, I realized how powerful it is to have someone walk with you through healing. Now, as a life coach and mentor, I’m passionate about helping others find their footing again after loss.
Coping with feelings of failure as a 20 something still living with your parents
I graduated college during the pandemic, which means right when my life would've gotten started, the entire world was put on hold. I moved back home in March 2020, and I've been here ever since. At first, I was too emotionally immature to take the action steps toward an independent adult life, such as career planning, networking, applying to internships, etc. I had suffered a loss in 2019 and was diagnosed with depression in 2021, so it's safe to say my mind, body, and spirit was not a conducive environment for a breakthrough. Things got dark in the fall of that same year; I hit rock bottom and decided to get my life together. Cold turkey, I kicked the substances, started exercising regularly, and even went to therapy. While I'm still in my hometown and living with my parents, now, I pay rent, work multiple jobs, and save up for the bright future ahead. I let go of the victim story that the pandemic ruined my life and redefined adulthood in a way that works for me.
Setting meaningful goals, tracking growth, and creating concrete healthy habits
Serenity L.
Establishing healthier habits
I help people gain clarity, make confident decisions, and turn their goals into actionable steps that stick. Over the years, I’ve learned how overwhelming it can feel when priorities, habits, and milestones aren’t aligned with what you truly want. Through my own experiences as an entrepreneur, traveler, and Certified Empowerment Coach (CTEDU), I’ve discovered practical strategies for setting meaningful goals, tracking progress, and establishing habits that support long-term success. I guide you in clarifying your purpose, breaking down big ambitions into manageable milestones, and creating routines that fuel both productivity and well-being. By working together, you’ll feel more focused, energized, and empowered to take consistent action toward the life you truly want—one that feels intentional, fulfilling, and aligned with who you are/want to be.
Exploring life goals, vision boarding, and shifting your mindset
Micah L.
Setting measurable objectives
Growing up, I had a bit of a bad attitude. I genuinely believed I was unlucky and that good things just wouldn’t happen to me. I saw other people living lives that felt out of reach, and I assumed I’d always be stuck in a version of life that felt small, stressful, or just meh. That started to shift when I learned about limiting beliefs. I realized I had internalized some deep stories about what I thought I deserved, and that those beliefs were shaping what I did and didn’t go after. Once I began doing intentional work to change those patterns, so much started to change. I landed a job I enjoy, started a career I’m proud of, and cultivated friendships that bring me real joy. These days, people even comment on how “lucky” I am, but I know it’s not just luck. It’s mindset, consistency, and dreaming on purpose. I now spend regular time visualizing, meditating, doing EFT tapping, and creating vision boards that keep me aligned and connected to what I actually want. If you were never taught to dream big or even figure out what you actually want, I’d love to help you take those first steps.
Reinventing your career when you're stuck in the unknown
Andrea B.
Available this week
I’ve changed careers multiple times across very different industries. Each shift started with the same feeling: stuck, uncertain, and unsure what the next step should be. I have left jobs without a clear plan, faced the silence after being forced to resign, and sat with the fear that I might never find something that felt right. The path was never linear. It involved a lot of false starts, doubt, and days when clarity felt completely out of reach. But through trial, reflection, and learning to listen to what I actually needed, I began to build a different way forward. I used tools like mindset work, personal awareness, and small experiments to create movement. Reinvention didn’t come from figuring everything out. It came from being willing to start where I was and take the next step anyway. Now, I support others who are facing the same stuckness and helping them find traction in the unknown.
