I am a simple person with a huge heart. I survived seemingly insurmountable abuse and neglect. I have no relationship with my parents, I struggled financially for many years, and I battled deep depression, suicidal thoughts, and substance abuse for much of my life. Yet today, I am the happiest I have ever been. I cannot express how beautiful my life has become. I have found a home within myself, and I know I can help others find a home within themselves too. I know this because I am currently working as a Substance Abuse Counselor, helping people overcome severe opioid dependence, and I have seen firsthand that genuine empathy and support is profound and enduring. I believe in providing individuals a safe space to express their fears, faults, and feelings without judgment. I care.
